Privacy policy
This policy describes, factually, how the site handles information as it exists today.
Current status: this is a demonstration site. It does not create accounts or send contact/wholesale form submissions anywhere. The checkout runs on Stripe in test mode — details entered there are sent to Stripe to simulate a payment, but no real charges are made and no orders are fulfilled. This page describes present practice and is not a claim of legal or regulatory compliance.
Contact and wholesale forms do not transmit data
The contact and wholesale enquiry forms on this site are demonstrations only. When you submit them, nothing is sent to a server, emailed, or stored remotely. Data you type stays in your browser and is discarded when you leave or refresh the page. The exception is the checkout described below.
Checkout uses Stripe (test mode)
The checkout page embeds payment fields served by Stripe, our payment processor. The email, delivery address and payment details you enter at checkout are sent to Stripe to process a test-mode payment — no real charge is made, and this site does not itself store your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the information it processes.
Your basket is stored locally
Items you add to your basket are saved in your own browser usinglocalStorageso your basket persists between visits on the same device. This information stays on your device; it is not transmitted to us or to any third party.
No analytics or tracking cookies
At present the site uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and no third-party tracking scripts. The only browser storage in use is the local basket described above.
Data controller

What will apply once payments and accounts launch
When ordering, payments, or customer accounts go live, this site will process additional information — for example, the details you provide to place and pay for an order, and to arrange delivery. At that point this policy will be updated to describe, before those features are used:
- what information is collected and why;
- which third parties (such as a payment processor and delivery carriers) receive information, and for what purpose;
- how long information is kept;
- the choices and controls available to you over your information.
Payment card details are handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor, rather than stored by this site. Stripe currently runs in test mode; the same arrangement is expected to apply when live payments launch.
